Covenant ODSTs were planned, but the idea was cancelled due to too many training casualties.

Orbital Drop Shock Troopers are a super elite group of UNSC Marines whose job is to soften up a landing zone for the Master Chief to roll in with style. They are still considered "cannon fodder" though. They wear black uniforms (which earned them the nickname "emos of the UNSC")that look cool but are a really dumb idea for camoflage, especially since they were only ever deployed next to a lush, green river and in a desert. During the day. They speak in Australian accents to make themselves sound cooler. For weaponry, each OSDT is equipped with a standard issue spy flower which when sprays water in people's faces. That or a gun. They do NOT get a laugh at parties, however. In general, Marines do not invite OSDTs to their parties. They hate Master Chief even though he's humanity's last hope, but are too spineless to tell him what they really think and always suck up to him when he's around. Still, MC beat up like 50 of these guys. To sum it up, they are Marines that were given fancy but useless suits to make themselves feel better. They are also known as "Orbital Drop Shock Troopers". They are marines who are too dumb to be useful so they are sent in pods to distract the covenant until the other smarter marines can get in safely. The intelligence of an ODST is equivalent to that of a...a really stupid Covenant. They also have the aiming capabilty is that of a warthog(animal). They also shoot at the chief and marines and have 15 wives on earth (Mormons). The helijumpers on the fourth hula hoop were lead by Major Silva. Silva lead a platoon of helijumpers to a flood controlled ship and was killed when Mckay blew up the ship. They wear the old spartan II outfit. The helljumpers are one of the smartest troopers. They may be smart, but their pods aren't. the REAL anagram for ODST is oh dump shitty transport. Oh wait...that contradicts what we said earlier...OK, ignore those last few sentences.
